The FTA carries out tax audits on selected taxpayers. These are detailed inspections of the taxpayer’s records and tax declarations, to check for errors and omissions.
We provide a range of services to assist our clients with tax audits, including:
- Pre-audit reviews to highlight potential risk areas
- Assistance with collating data and documents requested by the Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
- Assistance with responses to FTA queries
- Support during the audit process
- Post audit assistance, including advice on assessments or penalties raised by the FTA, Tax Assessment Review Request and implementing changes required to deal with issues identified during the audit.
