Hitesh Kataria

Hitesh Kataria is an Associate Director in the Risk Advisory practice at BDO, with over 15 years of experience in ESG and sustainability advisory. He supports organisations in developing and implementing practical, impact-driven sustainability strategies across a range of sectors and geographies.
 
Hitesh has held senior roles with leading consulting and advisory firms, including KPMG and Uniqus, where he led ESG transformation engagements for clients operating in global markets. He has also worked with the USD 30 billion Mahindra Group in a group strategy and sustainability role, where he supported decarbonisation initiatives, the adoption of electric vehicles, and sustainability-led policy advocacy.
 
In his current role, Hitesh leads the go-to-market strategy for BDO’s ESG service line and provides technical direction across ESG engagements. He represents the firm at industry forums, contributes to ESG thought leadership, and works closely with BDO’s global network on cross-border ESG and sustainability assignments.
