Your opportunity
The purpose of this position is to create, develop, and implement a Performance Management framework based on leading practices that is fair and transparent, to enable people growth and development across various service lines. They should have the skill to foster a mentoring atmosphere.
- Developing and managing the implementation of performance management, competency frameworks, and career planning practices.
- Actively contribute and project manage the implementation of a digital tool to automate performance management processes to facilitate ongoing and flexible performance conversations.
- Collaborate regularly with teams to ensure awareness of processes, policies, and guidelines.
- Oversee the entire performance management cycle process including appraisal completion (e.g. forms and templates, communications).
- Support people development through continuous opportunities for engagement and structured programs (training, on-the-job, short-term assignment, job rotation, mentoring, etc.)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to cultivate a coaching culture, aiming for consistent and impactful performance feedback.
- Working to ensure consistent delivery of efficient and effective performance management activities.
- Develop tools and support material to help employees and their line managers in their appraisal process.
- Connecting in inspirational ways across teams and offices and working to prioritise the successful development of talent.
- Support the development and implementation of comprehensive personal development plans and career maps.
- Contributing directly to the development of the management teams by coaching them to excel in their people management responsibilities.
- Working to ensure meaningful communications and updates are relayed to the firm.
- Collaborating with your colleagues to help execute the People strategy, and share knowledge and best practices.
- Supervising the cyclical HR processes and administration related to Performance Management practices.
- Working on other people-related projects, as required, and directed by the Head of People and Partnership Group.
Key attributes
- Prior experience in developing and running successful performance management, competency frameworks, and career development practices.
- Proven track record of managing daily HR activities working in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire a team, articulate a vision, and influence stakeholders.
- Independently manage and execute HR projects.
- Strong organizational skills to focus on different tasks, proactiveness, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and in a collaborative team.
- Demonstrate business acumen and the ability to bring this to life operationally day to day.
Key experience
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or relevant in HR required.
- Professionals in Human Resources (CIPD, CHRP, CHRM) are preferred.
- 5-6 years of progressive experience in Performance Management and Talent Development within a Professional services environment.
- Excellent Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Proficient experience in using any HR system applications like SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle, and PeopleSoft.
