Your opportunity

  • Lead end-to-end Internal Audit, ICOFR, and ERM engagements across UAE-based client portfolios 
  • Plan and execute risk-based internal audits, with strong focus on financial, operational, compliance, and governance processes 
  • Evaluate and enhance internal controls and ICOFR frameworks (IFRS-aligned reporting environments) 
  • Lead and support Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks, risk identification, and risk register development 
  • Perform control design and operating effectiveness assessments and identify key control gaps 
  • Independently manage multiple engagements across Internal Audit, ICOFR, and ERM workstreams 
  • Lead teams of 3–5 members, including supervision, review, and coaching 
  • Prepare and present audit/ERM findings and actionable recommendations to senior client stakeholders 
  • Maintain strong client relationships and support proposal and business development activities 
  • Ensure awareness and alignment with UAE regulatory environment including ADAA / ADGM / CMA / IFRS frameworks (as applicable)

Key qualification & experience

  • Qualified CA / ACCA / CFA (mandatory) 
  • CIA / CISA / CFE / DISA will be an advantage 
  • 5–8 years post-qualification experience with strong exposure to Internal Audit, ICOFR, and ERM (mandatory focus areas) 
  • Strong hands-on experience in internal controls, risk frameworks, and governance advisory 
  • Prior UAE experience is strongly preferred / required (consulting or industry) 
  • Exposure to Energy & Natural Resources, Oil & Gas, Power, Utilities, Metals & Mining preferred; manufacturing an added advantage 
  • Familiarity with UAE regulatory environment (ADAA / ADGM / CMA) preferred 
  • Experience leading small teams and managing client-facing assignments independently 
  • Working knowledge of SAP / Oracle and audit tools 
  • Strong analytical, communication, and report writing skills
