Responsibilities
- Understand the client's requirements in detail and discuss these with colleagues. Organise ideas logically and present your thoughts rationally and confidently. Identify audit and accounting issues on a timely basis and discuss them with the engagement team and the client. Work towards a proper resolution for these matters.
- Complete allocated assignments/tasks within engagements according to BDO methodology, adhering to specified timelines. Draft and guide the team in preparing and reviewing financial statements for assigned projects in compliance with IFRS, ensuring all notes and disclosures are complete. Maintain effective two-way communication and resolve issues while guiding other team members in these areas. Respond promptly and accurately to queries and requests by the seniors and clients.
- Produce high quality work that meets relevant professional standards.
Experience & Education
- 0-1 years of experience in Accounting, Auditing, or any related field
- Currently pursuing a professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CPA), or fresh graduate in Finance & Accounting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple assignments
- Ability to work independently
- Fluent in English (Reading, Speaking, and Writing).
