Your opportunity

  • Lead and manage IT audit assignments for Assurance clients including planning, coordinating audit scope with engagement teams, communicating with clients, and reporting the audit observations.
  • Analyze the IT environment of Assurance clients and support the engagement teams in arriving at the audit approach effectively by demonstrating a thorough understanding of complex information systems.
  • Analyze business, financial and IT systems and other data processing problems to identify risks and improvements in IT controls and processes.
  • Ensure high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing EMs of engagement status, and managing staff performance.
  • Demonstrate and apply strong project management skills, inspire teamwork and responsibility with audit staff, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services.
  • Review audit files by offering recommendations for improvement and formulating review points. Assist staff in making necessary corrections and ensure an in-depth understanding of review points.
  • Ensure thorough project documentation and maintain electronic filing / backup in accordance with BDO guidelines.
  • Obtain and provide consistent and constructive feedback.

Key Experience Parameters

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (IT audit / IT general controls testing).
  • A bachelor’s degree in an Information Technology-related field is required.
  • CISA certification is preferred.
