Biography
Joint Managing Partner, Mohamed Afzal Koya is a Fellow Member of the
Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
Mohamed Afzal Koya has been
associated with BDO since 1995 and inducted as a partner in May
2007.
Mohamed Afzal Koya has considerable experience in auditing,
accounting and management advisory services. He has significant experience in
international audits and has worked with BDO teams globally on many
international assignments. He is also the firm’s country leader for
International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) technical matters and is
responsible for monitoring developments with regard to the interpretation and
application of IFRS. Mohamed Afzal Koya has been elected as Joint Managing
Partner of BDO Chartered Accountants & Advisors in August 2010
