Your opportunity
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Security Architect to join our team and play a key role in safeguarding our client's data and applications in the Microsoft Azure cloud. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining best-in-class security solutions, leveraging your expertise in data loss prevention (DLP), data classification, and security information and event management (SIEM).
- Design and implement secure Azure architectures:
- Ensure Azure cloud environment and hosted applications comply with the security policies, standards, and best practices concerning IaaS and PaaS cloud security.
- Assess Enterprise wide cloud applications such as Oracle Fusion, HCM fusion, and other ERPs.
- Design secure deployments of Azure resources, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Define and implement access control policies, leveraging Azure Active Directory and Identity and Access Management (IAM).
- Develop cloud migration strategies, which are later executed by the entire AWS migration team
- Implement and manage data security solutions:
- Configure and optimize Azure Data Loss Prevention (DLP) to prevent sensitive data exfiltration.
- Design and implement data classification strategies to ensure proper handling and protection of sensitive information.
- Integrate Azure Security Center with a SIEM solution for comprehensive log analysis and threat detection.
- Monitor and respond to security threats:
- Analyze security alerts and logs to identify suspicious activity and investigate potential security incidents.
- Work with the security operations team to respond to security incidents and remediate vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans and playbooks.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest security trends and technologies:
- Continuously learn and adapt to evolving threats and emerging security solutions.
- Maintain awareness of Microsoft Azure security updates and releases.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical and non-technical audiences, about security risks and solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in cloud security architecture, ideally within Microsoft Azure.
- Proven experience with data loss prevention (DLP) technologies.
- Strong understanding of data classification principles and solutions.
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement secure cloud architectures.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for security and a desire to stay up-to-date on the latest trends.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Azure Security, Microsoft 365 Security, Cloud Security, CCSP, or CISSP.
- Experience with Azure Sentinel or another SIEM solution.
- Experience with DevOps and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
- Knowledge of compliance regulations such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, or GDPR.
