Your opportunity

  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director/HAAQM in supporting the firm’s implementation of Quality Standards including requirements of ISQM.
  • Work closely with the Quality Director to evaluate the SoQM against the objectives, policies, and Global requirements.
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to implement SoQM across all functions within the Firm.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director in developing and performing the Annual Quality Monitoring. 
  • Develop and implement a remediation plan and follow up to ensure timely completion.
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director in supporting quality reviewers when required. 
  • Assist the quality reviewers in performing quality reviews and provide practical and technical feedback to the relevant Engagement Partners and engagement teams. 
  • Continuously keeping abreast of emerging audit quality findings. 
  • Assist in developing and monitoring Quality Indicators for the firm. 
  • Assist in the performance of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and provide meaningful remediation action points for the firm. 
  • Perform thematic reviews on topical or difficult audit technical topics. 
  • Collate information from all monitoring activities and develop a common themes or trends analysis for feedback to the Firm. 
  • Innovative development and delivery of training.
  • Contribute to thought leadership regarding Auditing Standards and audit methodology including assisting in responding to relevant consultations.
  • Develop communication that considers the firm's size and circumstances, to all staff and Partners and findings. 
  • Assist the Quality Assurance Director in preparing reports to Partnership periodically.
  • Coordinate with the Firm's Head of Audit and Assurance, Head of Advisory, COO, and service line teams to implement best professional practices to manage Quality.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to working within and contributing to a positive team environment.
  • Able to work well under pressure and demonstrate a positive and committed attitude in dealings with both team members and partners.

Key Experience Parameters

  • Hold a relevant and recognised accountancy qualification and have at least five years' relevant experience.
  • Have proven skills in auditing and a working knowledge of ISAs.
  • Be a highly skilled, client-focused, communicator who has an exceptional track record of building and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and experience of managing multiple projects/tasks.
