BDO UAE firm announces appointment of Gerard Rahman as CEO.
Gerard started his career at Price Waterhouse and joined BDO UK in London in 1998 within assurance services. After a secondment to our firm in 2002, Gerard formally joined our firm where he also became the Regional Coordinator for the Middle East in 2004. In 2005, Gerard joined BDO NZ in Auckland before returning to our firm in Dubai in 2009 where he continues to make a significant contribution to the success of our firm. Gerard is Head of our Assurance Services as well as an International Liaison Partner.
Russi Patel will continue as Managing Partner and International Liaison Partner and is supported in the governance of the firm by Mohamed Afzal Koya, the Joint Managing Partner.
